Add a live visitor counter to any Webflow site in 60 seconds (2026 guide)
The cleanest way to install a real-time visitor widget on Webflow. Works on the free plan, no third-party Webflow app required, and renders cleanly in the Designer preview.
The simplest method — Embed component (recommended)
Webflow makes this almost trivially easy. The Embed component accepts arbitrary HTML/JavaScript, which is exactly what FeedPulse provides.
- Open the FeedPulse generator, paste your Webflow site URL (e.g.
yoursite.webflow.ioor your custom domain). - Pick Live Traffic Feed. Customize colors to match your Webflow brand palette.
- Copy the snippet.
- In Webflow Designer, drag an Embed component to your page wherever you want the widget.
- Paste the snippet into the Embed component's HTML editor. Click Save & Close.
- Publish your site — the widget only renders on the live site, not in Designer preview.
The widget will start streaming country flags within seconds of your next real visitor landing on the page.
For site-wide placement (every page)
Instead of dropping an Embed component on each page:
- Go to Project Settings → Custom Code.
- In the Footer Code field, paste the snippet.
- Save and Publish.
The widget will now appear at the bottom of every published page across your site.
Webflow-specific tips
1. Free plan limitations
The Webflow free plan (*.webflow.io subdomains) doesn't support Custom Code in Project Settings. You're limited to the Embed component approach. That's fine — the Embed component works perfectly on the free plan.
2. Mobile responsiveness in Designer
By default the FeedPulse widget is 320px wide. In Designer, set the parent container's max-width to 100% and the widget will fit mobile screens without horizontal scroll. Add overflow: hidden to the parent if you see any edge cases.
3. CMS pages
If you want the widget on every CMS Collection page (e.g. each blog post), add the Embed component to the Collection Template Page in Designer. It will automatically appear on every collection item.
4. Style consistency with Webflow's design system
Most Webflow sites use a clean modern aesthetic. The FeedPulse default (Klein blue header on white) looks at home in most Webflow templates. For darker themes, switch the header_bg to #0A0A0A and bg_color to #fafafa.
