Is the live traffic widget really free?

Yes, free forever, with no view limits, no watermark and no paid tier above it. There is no trial to expire because there is nothing to upgrade to.

Do I need to create an account?

No. You enter your domain, you get your snippet. There is no email field, no password and no verification step.

Will it slow my site down?

The script is roughly 4 KB and loads asynchronously, so it does not block rendering. All eighteen widgets share the same runtime, so a second widget adds almost no extra weight.

Does it set cookies or need a consent banner?

It sets no cookies and creates no cross-site identifier. It stores aggregate counts rather than individual profiles, so in most cases there is nothing extra for a consent banner to declare. Check your own obligations before relying on that.

Which platforms does it work on?

Any platform that lets you paste HTML: WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Squarespace, Ghost, Blogger, Framer and plain static HTML, including GitHub Pages.

Is this a Feedjit alternative?

Yes. Feedjit's live traffic feed was discontinued, and FeedPulse covers the same job — a real-time feed of who is on your site right now — without an account. It is also used as a Whos.amung.us and StatCounter alternative for live-visitor display.

Can I see where my visitors clicked?

Yes, the free click heatmap widget records click positions as a percentage of the viewport and renders them over a screenshot of the page. It does not record sessions.

How is this free with no paid plan?

The widgets carry a small attribution link back to FeedPulse, and the site runs unobtrusive ads on its own pages. That covers the hosting, so the tools stay free rather than becoming a funnel.
